Kasparas Uinskas is one of the most talented Lithuanian pianists of the new generation, who is already recognized by music critics and listeners. In 1996 Kasparas Uinskas won First Prize at the International Stasys Vainiūnas Competition and is featured at famous music festivals, throughout the Europe and U.S. For the 2007/2008 season he prepared an impressive program, which he will present throughout Europe – London’s Wigmore Hall, Berlin’s Philharmonie and the U.S., including his New York debut at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and Washington Kennedy Center Millennium Stage.
Kasparas entered the Frederic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw, and in 2001, he was studying at the world famous Juilliard School in New York, where he was a recipient of the Vladimir Horowitz Scholarship.
