WEEKEND PROGRAM EVENTS

   $36  The U.S.- Baltic Technology Forum

  • The U.S.-Baltic Technology Forum will take place on Friday, April 18, 2008, at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC from 0900 to1500. Building upon last year’s successes, the 2008 program will provide Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and American companies the opportunity to assess challenges and environments and explore exciting new opportunities in a range of technology innovation fields. Noted American and Baltic experts in technology will lead panel discussions on cutting-edge subjects including:

Cyber Security
Technology Commercialization
Energy Conservation and Green Technology

 

      $75  Saturday Baltic and U.S. Ambassadors Luncheon

We have invited the three current U.S. Ambassadors to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, as well the three current Baltic Ambassadors to the United States to a participate in a luncheon to discuss relevant business and economic issues.  The luncheon will be held at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel on Saturday, April 19, from 12:30- 2:00 pm.

*  The luncheon is included in the Washington, DC Business Program ticket package.  Individuals who did not sign up for the Washington, DC Business Program may attend the luncheon by purchasing an individual ticket.

 

      $25  Saturday Exchange Program Summit

  • The Exchange Program Summit will bring together any individuals and organizations that are currently engaged in or wish to become engaged in people-to-people exchange programs between the U.S. and Baltic States.  The Exchange Program Summit will take place on Saturday, April 19, from 8:30- 11:30 am.  Events associated with the Exchange Program Summit include:

    • Keynote Presentations on international exchange programs
    • Discussion forum

    *  The Exchange Program Summit is included in Ambassador Silent Auction and Dinner ticket package.  Individuals who purchased a Friend of the Baltics ticket may purchase an individual Exchange Program Summit ticket.

MONDAY MARYLAND AND DELAWARE BUSINESS TRIPS

     $200 Delaware and Maryland Matchmaking Trip

Baltic business leaders have an opportunity to attend meetings with representatives of Trade Associations, state government officials, and local businesses in their industry in Delaware.  The delegation will depart from the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC in the morning and will return to the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in the evening.

1.  Attendees may log on to the Mayflower web page by typing www.renaissancemayflower.com.  Once this is done, attendees need to enter their travel dates, then move down to the box name GROUP CODE and enter USBUSBA.  Follow the prompts from then on.
