Dear Friends & Supporters,

We just came back from the Boulder International Film Festival, where The Singing Revolution won an award as Most Inspirational Film of the festival. Over five hundred people saw the film and gave it a long standing ovation.

We’re now excited to announce a few more theatrical openings of The Singing Revolution in North America. These are just the beginning, as we expect to have 10-20 more locations to announce in the coming weeks!

The film is opening in many art house theaters across the country (typically playing 5 times a day for 1 week or more). In addition to that, we’re being asked to play the film at special screenings open to the public, such as at the Cleveland Museum of Art. So we hope to offer many opportunities for people to see the film as a true theatrical experience!

COMING SOON:
WASHINGTON, DC -- Opens April 18 at Landmark’s E Street Cinema (for 1 week or more)

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA – Opens March 28 at Cinemark Tinseltown Vancouver (for 1 week or more)

ALBANY, NY -- Opens March 21 at the Spectrum 8 Theater (for 1 week or more)

CLEVELAND, OH -- Cleveland Museum of Art – Special Screenings on April 18 & 19

NYC (again!) Special Screenings on February 23rd & 24th in honor of Estonian Independence Day

SOON TO BE ANNOUNCED:
Toronto, Boston, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, Portland and more…
(More details on the theater locations as they become available on our website: http://www.singingrevolution.com/cgi-local/screenings.cgi

DVD RELEASE:
As soon as the theatrical release is compete, DVDs will become available from the website.

SPECIAL NOTE:
In Estonia, the theatrical run happened in early 2007, and people have been waiting patiently for over a year for the DVD release, which has been timed to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Estonian Independence. So in Estonia, PAL versions of the DVD will be available later this month. (PAL is the European television format, different from the U.S. and Canadian format of NTSC.)

This version of the DVD is licensed and encoded for use in Estonia only, and the DVDs will not play on most North American machines. Additionally, having these DVDs shipped to North America will only hurt the theatrical distribution of the film, so we kindly ask that if you are interested in owning one you wait for the North American DVD release. (The North American release will have some extras on it as well.)

We beg your understanding that the theatrical run needs to be completed in North America before DVDs can be made available here. Thank you! We appreciate your patience, understanding and support.

Onward!
